Citing Your Sources

Find out how to cite your sources using the citation styles most commonly used at Ursinus

Zotero

Zotero is a free citation management application produced by the nonprofit Corporation for Digital Scholarship. With Zotero, you can capture citations from your web browser using a plug-in and store them in the Zotero software you download to your computer.  You can also sync your citation library with an online Zotero account so you can access your saved resources anywhere, even if you're using a different computer.

Key Features of Zotero:

  • You can store PDFs and other file types right in the Zotero client (free up to 300 MB of storage).
  • Extract citation information right from the web using browser plug-ins or create references manually.
  • Organize your references into different folders for each class, project, etc.
  • Using word processor plug-ins, easily cite your references in-text and let Zotero automatically build your bibliography/works cited page as you go.
