Before finishing the program, students are asked to take their Praxis content test. The test is strongly recommended to take near the end of your program, as much of what you have learned will be on the test. ETS has all the information you need on how to apply to take a test, where the closest testing center is to you (or be able to do it from your home), and materials to help you study. A passing score on the Praxis II test is required before applying for your teaching certification in Pennsylvania. All states have different test score requirements.
