WorldCat Discovery searches multiple resources including books, journal articles, images, and more. It can be used for both electronic resources and items in our library.
Use the Library Catalog to search for books on a particular topic, starting with a general keyword search to see what you can find. Make sure to note where in the library the book can be found. Music books are located in:
• The Main Stacks on the Third Floor.
• The Folio Section on the second floor if the books are oversized.
The call number for most Music books begins with the Dewey Decimal number 780.
If you are not able to find books using a keyword search, you can use a "Subject" search by choosing that tag from the drop down menu on the main search page to hone in on a specific topic.
Below are some examples of subject headings that you can use (the links will take you directly into the catalog with the search results for these subject terms):
E-books are located either in the Library's E-Resources A-Z Directory or through the various e-book collections on the Library Databases page. Below is one of our many e-books available about jazz music.
