A project of California State University, MERLOT (Multimedia Education Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) is an online repository of OER materials contributed by consortium and individual members. The SmartSearch feature allows users to find OERs beyond the MERLOT repository, but these results will not necessarily be peer reviewed.

Provides up-to-the-minute results from OER repositories and other digital collections. Searches can be limited to specific sources of content and can be limited by date range, title and author.
Developed at SUNY Geneseo's Milne Library, OASIS is a search tool that aims to make the discovery of open content easier. Including content from 114 sources, searches can be narrowed by subject or type of resource such as: Textbooks, course materials, modules, interactive simulations, public domain books, audiobooks, videos, podcasts, learning objects and primary sources.
