Sometimes a book, journal, or article you need for your research is unavailable online or in print at Mryin Library. In these cases, one should use the Interlibrary Loan system to borrow a copy from another library.
The ILL website can be found on the Myrin Library homepage and requires you to log in. Once inside, please provide as much information about the resource as you can to insure the correct item is requested.
You will receive an email when your Interlibrary Loan has arrived. Article and chapter copies will be sent to you electronically, while books can be picked up at the library.
The Myrin Library periodicals collection features a vast array of scholarly journals. There are all sorts of subjects to choose, from short stories and essay collections, to detailed scholarly pieces ranging in genre and discipline. One can even find newspapers and magazines, both current and past.
A complete list of periodical subscriptions, both print and online, can be found in the library's Journal List.
Use the Library Catalog to search for books on a particular topic, starting with a general "Keyword" search to see what you can find. You can either search across all formats, using the "Everything" tab, or search for just Books/ebooks.
If you are not having much luck with the keyword search, you can use a "Subject" search by choosing that tag from the drop down menu on the search bar to hone in on a specific topic.
