American Journal of Psychology

This is the official journal published and funded by the American Psychological Association. The articles found in this journal focus on current studies in psychology, the way that psychology relates to the larger world and to the determination of public policies, and the way that psychologists today practice and complete studies. Articles are written to be accessible to all people and include topics in a broad range of interests. American Psychologist also prints archived information and records relevant to the psychological community.

Annual reviews offers comprehensive collections of reviews written by leading scientists. It is an annual publication that focuses on disciplines withing the Biological, Life, Physical, and Social Sciences including Economics.
Behavioral and Brain Sciences

Journal of Applied Social Psychology
Journal of Applied Social Psychology is a monthly publication devoted to applications of experimental behavioral science research to problems of society (e.g., organizational and leadership psychology, safety, health, and gender issues; perceptions of war and natural hazards; jury deliberation; performance, AIDS, cancer, heart disease, exercise, and sports).
Journal of Personality and Social Psychology
This Journal is published monthly. It offers international form for the original empirical papers in different areas of personality and social psychology.
Psychological Bulletin® publishes evaluative and integrative research reviews and interpretations of issues in scientific psychology. Both qualitative (narrative) and quantitative (meta-analytic) reviews will be considered, depending on the nature of the database under consideration for review.
Psychological Methods® is devoted to the development and dissemination of methods for collecting, analyzing, understanding, and interpreting psychological data. Its purpose is the dissemination of innovations in research design, measurement, methodology, and quantitative and qualitative analysis to the psychological community; its further purpose is to promote effective communication about related substantive and methodological issues (Publisher).
Psychology of Women Quarterly
This is a feminist, scientific peer-reviewed journal that focuses on empirical research, theoretical articles and critical reviews that advance a field of enquiry on current topics. The journal also deals with teaching briefs, invited book reviews related to the psychology of women and gender. This journal is a great resource for clinicians, faculty, and researchers in all psychology disciplines including sociology of gender, women studies, multicultural studies and teacher education.
This is one of the top sources for theoretical research in areas of scientific psychology. While many psychology journals print articles that debunk other previously-published theories, Psychological Review chooses to print articles that are primarily focused on new theories.
